THE ASK
While the CREW Center is now up and running, discussions around which actual facilities should be included in the center were drawn out over an eight-year period. However, all stakeholders agreed that the town’s deteriorating community pool, opened in 1962, needed replacement. They looked to Sprung for an enclosed aquatic facility.
HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED
The Sprung pool enclosure is now part of the CREW center. Taking a mere eight weeks to complete, the structure is connected to a larger, conventional building that houses a gym and other wellness facilities. The aquatic enclosure includes a six-lane competition pool with starting blocks, a resistance channel, and a zero-depth entry pool for children. The pool facility provides sports and exercise benefits for the entire community, across all ages.
