THE ASK
Snowbowl needed a structure to house a mid-mountain dining facility in time for the ski season. Not only was speed of delivery critical, the new facility also had to be insulated, visually pleasing, filled with natural light and able to showcase the resort’s spectacular outdoor views. It also had to meet strict USDA Forest Service building codes.
HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED
In just four weeks, a 4,500-square-foot Sprung structure was erected in a secluded ski-in, ski-out location. Known as Fremont Restaurant & Bar, it was built to accommodate 150 people for dinner service and 200 for cocktail receptions. Featuring large windows that provide plenty of natural daylight and stunning landscape, Fremont also serves as a popular venue for weddings and special events. A large connector (measuring 19’2”) bridges to a kitchen, and the insulated structure supports everything needed for comfortable year-round use.
