THE ASK
Tengizchevroil LLP required fast delivery and construction of a multi-structure expansion for its oil field facilities in Kazakhstan. The group had previously engaged Sprung to design and build a swimming pool enclosure in 1997. That pool structure stood up superbly amid remote Kazakhstan’s harsh climate for 20 years, making Sprung durability the obvious choice for the new, multi-structure expansion.
HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED
As the first stage of the expansion project, in 2016-2017 12 structures were delivered and assembled on-site to be used as warehouses, offices, and shops. The second expansion stage consisted of the purchase and assembly of three more materials warehouses, and was completed in 2019. All structures were erected on time per Tengizchevroil LLP’s tight schedule; the first warehouse structure of the expansion was delivered and erected 10 weeks after the order was placed. In the end, Sprung provided speedy delivery and construction for 15 structures in a very remote location, meeting all the client’s requirements.
