While building its Terminal 4, including a new parking site, the airport needed two cost-effective, high-performance structures to serve as interim helicopter hangars.
HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED
Sprung quickly delivered two top-quality, customized hangars — a 120’ x 165’ structure to house AeroGulf Services (a commercial helicopter operator), and a 120’ x 330’ structure for the Dubai Police Department. The innovative structures were built using Sprung’s patented tensioned membrane technology and were essential to the airport’s function for the two years that followed.
