THE ASK
The mega-church saw a significant lack of recreational activity for youth in the community and wanted to make a direct, positive change by building a multi-functional fitness and recreation complex. With such an obvious lack of amenities, Redemption felt compelled to make an immediate impact. That meant building a center quickly, so that it could start serving the entire community as soon as possible — and last for generations.
HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED
At 48,000 square feet, the huge recreation complex was delivered, completed and opened in just 4 months. The Sprung clear-span design offers more usable and flexible space with no limiting obstructions.
Called the Relentless Life Center, the structure includes three full-sized basketball courts where teams and leagues of all ages play. Additionally, at each end of the complex are 12,000-square-foot mezzanines, which accommodate conference rooms, weight training areas, locker rooms with saunas, cardiovascular equipment and a raised running track.
With lower construction costs than a traditional build, Redemption could invest in better amenities and equipment on the inside.
