Polar Air Cargo At Schiphol Airport

Play Video

THE ASK

In April 2004, Polar Air had outgrown its facilities in Liege, Belgium, and was looking for a more strategically located airport to service its clientele. The company wanted to relocate to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam but required a 110,000-square-foot enclosed structure to use as warehousing space at the airport.

HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED

After reviewing a variety of building options, Polar Air concluded that a Sprung solution was the best and fastest choice for meeting all of the company’s storage needs. In just eight weeks, Sprung delivered and installed three structures, each one measuring 130’ x 280’ and featuring state-of-the-art, rapid-rolling doors as well as Sprung’s patented daylight panels to reduce lighting costs during daylight hours.
