THE ASK

In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina, a powerful Category 5 hurricane, struck the Gulf Coast of the United States, ravaging New Orleans and its surrounding areas. In the storm’s wake, the Salvation Army needed immediate, safe and cost-effective structures to assist with disaster recovery in the region.

HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED

Sprung supplied several durable, 11,200-square-foot structures within three weeks of receiving the Salvation Army’s order. Each of the structures featured engineered interior partitions, which helped workers provide a variety of different services during the recovery period, including food distribution, Sunday School, youth activities and more.
