THE ASK
The Military Museums of Calgary was looking for additional space to accommodate its Cold War Exhibit, which included three aircraft: a CF-18 Hornet, a CF-104 Starfighter and an F-86 Sabre. Overall project costs were critical to securing approval for the museum expansion.
HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED
Two Sprung structures were erected adjacent to the Military Museum. Designed to resemble Cold War-era Hardened Aircraft Shelters, the structures are seamlessly connected by a corridor and feature daylight panels in their peak; eye-catching, digitally printed exterior graphics; four double personnel doors; and a Dupont Tedlar Mediterranean Olive exterior membrane that complements the museum’s military theme.
