THE ASK
In the late 1980s, the Toronto Zoo decided it needed a structure that could house a dinosaur exhibit while also serving as an event centre for corporate and fundraising events.
HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED
The Toronto Zoo purchased its first Sprung structure in 1989. Measuring 60’ x 208’ and featuring a White Dupont Tedlar Membrane, the structure began its life as a dinosaur exhibit for kids and also served as an events center. Over those first few years at the zoo, this structure was the site of many successful fundraising events.
