The Ask

As part of the construction of its Basic Training Village, the academy sought long-lasting, customizable buildings to serve a variety of purposes and meet the basic needs of its hard-working trainees. All structures needed to be LEED-certified, which signifies that a building has met cost-efficiency and environmental standards.

How Sprung Delivered

Sprung answered the call by delivering three durable, cost-effective structures made with our innovative patented tensioned membrane technology. Erected close to the academy’s conventional four-story dormitory, the structures now house a classroom, a gymnasium and a dining space. Manufactured for the success of some of South Carolina’s finest, all three structures also qualify for LEED Silver certification.
