THE ASK
Among the Client’s many operations is a large project in northern Alberta, where staff live in a workforce camp environment. The Client realized that the addition of a state-of-the-art recreation facility to this site was not merely an amenity, but a strategic asset in its quest to attract and retain top talent. Known for its commitment to employee well-being, the Client distinguishes itself in the region as an employer that values its staff beyond the conventional workspace. This investment in staff health and happiness contributes to a robust morale and vibrant community within the workplace.
HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED
Sprung designed and delivered a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility complete with a mezzanine, glazing walls, large windows and our integrated Sprung Lighting system for optimal illumination no matter the time of day. Featuring both a well-appointed workout facility and a full-size gymnasium, the 70’ x 210’ structure was erected in the harsh winter conditions of northern Alberta in order to meet a tight construction deadline. The Client is thrilled with the low-profile design and clean finish of the structure, which provides staff with a bright, spacious, and welcoming place to meet up, work out, and build camaraderie by enjoying sports such as basketball, tennis, and badminton outside of work hours.
