THE ASK

In 1998 when the City of South Jordan was informed that Wolf Mountain’s Sprung structure was becoming available, they conferred with the resort and with Sprung about the logistics and cost of the building’s acquisition and relocation. The South Jordan City Council, the mayor and city residents were pleased with the low projected cost of purchasing and retrofitting the structure to effectively meet the immediate needs of South Jordan’s Public Works Division.

HOW SPRUNG DELIVERED

The 88.6’ wide x 230’ long structure was dismantled and shipped back to the Sprung plant in West Jordan, Utah, to be reworked, cleaned and refitted to include an office section separate from the maintenance area. The structure was then re-erected on City property as a Public Works facility for City vehicle maintenance, as well as the office for Public Works staff.
